Immerse yourself in an engaging learning environment on campus in the US this summer! Through the Applied AI in Engineering Summer Institute, students can spend two weeks on UC Berkeley’s campus, engaging with faculty from Berkeley’s top-ranked College of Engineering, gaining hands-on experience, and exploring beautiful California.

Two sessions will be available for students to choose from
- Session 1: July 07, 2025 - July 18, 2025
- Session 2: July 21, 2025 - August 01, 2025
Upon completion of the program, students will earn a Certificate of Achievement from UC Berkeley.

This two-week program is ideal for students with an interest in the future of applied artificial intelligence and innovation in engineering. Throughout the program, students will participate in lectures, seminars, and group projects, while exploring cutting-edge subject matter.

Admissions Requirements
Undergraduate students interested in the Applied AI in Engineering Summer Institute must meet the following requirements:
Age | Students must be between the ages of 18-25 |
English-language Proficiency | IELTS: 6.5; TOEFL: 80 (or equivalent) |
Undergraduate Degree Program | Students must be currently enrolled in any undergraduate degree program. (Students do not have to be enrolled in a degree program in the US.) |
Visa Requirement | Students will need to secure a Visitor Visa (B-2 Tourism) to travel to campus. |
Please note: Students will be required to demonstrate their enrollment status via official transcripts or a university letter. Students do not need to be enrolled in an undergraduate program in the US, and are not required to have a background in artificial intelligence.
