Who you can sponsor
1. Your Spouse
- Eligibility:
- Must be legally married to you
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Can be of either sex
2. Your Common-Law Partner
- Eligibility:
- Not legally married to you
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Can be of either sex
- Must have been living with you continuously for at least 12 consecutive months in a conjugal relationship
3. Your Conjugal Partner
- Eligibility:
- Not legally married to you or in a common-law relationship with you
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Can be of either sex
4. Dependent Children
- Eligibility:
- Children Under 22 Years Old:
- Must be under 22 years old
- Must not have a spouse or common-law partner
- Children 22 Years Old or Older:
- Must be unable to financially support themselves due to a mental or physical condition
- Must have depended on their parents for financial support since before the age of 22
- Children Under 22 Years Old:
