Parent & Grandparent Sponsorship
Parent & Grandparent Sponsorship Canada
The Parent and Grandparent Sponsorship Program (PGP) allows Canadian citizens and permanent residents to sponsor their parents and grandparents for permanent residency. This program is designed to help families stay connected by providing a pathway for parents and grandparents to live permanently in Canada.
Through this program, eligible sponsors can support their family members while they enjoy Canadian healthcare, education, and quality of life.

Why Choose the Parent & Grandparent Sponsorship Program?
- Family Reunification: Bring your parents and grandparents to live in Canada permanently.
- Structured Process: Invitation-based system ensures fairness in selection.
- Financial Security: Sponsors demonstrate the ability to support their loved ones without government assistance.
- Long-Term Stability: Sponsored parents and grandparents receive permanent residency with access to healthcare and social benefits.

- Receive Invitation: IRCC randomly selects and invites sponsors to apply.
